When I purchased these, I was thought they had a pad in the crotch area. I wanted to use them for cycling. Well, they don’t have a pad and even worse there is a seam running right through the center. This is usually a bad thing for me because it can cause chaffing in a place that can be very uncomfortable. However, I decided to use these shorts anyways to see what would happen. Fortunately, they didn’t chafe me. I do find them to be a bit tighter than I expected as well, but again it ultimately doesn’t cause any issues. Therefore, I have to say that it was a good deal considering the price difference between these and the ones that cost significantly more but have a pad.
